About Me
“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.”
— Jonathan Swift
Bio
I have been a professional journalist for nearly 40 years, and a photographer since junior high. The past 27 years I worked at The Charlotte Observer in many different jobs. I was lucky. I loved what I was doing and planned to work until I felt like it was time to leave. My luck ran out this past July - I became a layoff casualty like many in the newspaper business.
Expertise
My work focuses on corporate photojournalism. It's an extension of what I have always done, report with a camera on events, people, trends and companies. The only difference is that I work for corporations, nonprofits and such instead of a news gathering company. My work is done with the same integrity.
